The piece is the first part of a study on the relationship between experimental music and slow cinema. It is influenced by the aesthetic and morphological means used by the Slow Cinema current, i.e. the simple and sparse montage, the stillness of subjects and shots, the elliptical and episodic narration, and the breaking free of the form itself from the plot. The track itself consists of a sequence of sound scenes, adapting to the cinematic terminology. The goal was to deliver specific sensory effects that slow cinema induces, and, especially in this first phase of the study, to showcase abrupt changes of monotonous scenes in it.
It is expected that the constant absence of climax and the lack of strong material in the foreground will create boredom to the listener in one or more parts of the work. My belief is that this can be a period of recoil and mental strengthening, as well as an invitation towards the listener to look for the hidden meaning of their lost time, adding subjective content to the work. The fruit of this recollection or even solely of the fatigue can be seen during some next stage of the piece, or after its end.

Το έργο αποτελεί το πρώτο μέρος μίας μελέτης γύρω από τη σχέση πειραματικής μουσικής και αργού κινηματογράφου. Είναι επηρεασμένο από τα αισθητικά και μορφολογικά μέσα που χρησιμοποιεί το ρεύμα του Slow Cinema, δηλαδή το λιτό και αραιό μοντάζ, τη στατικότητα των υποκειμένων και των πλάνων, την ελλειπτική και επεισοδική αφήγηση, και τη φόρμα που δε βασίζεται στην πλοκή. Το ίδιο το κομμάτι αποτελείται από μία αλληλουχία ηχητικών σκηνών, ακολουθώντας την κινηματογραφική ορολογία. Ο στόχος ήταν η απόδοση συγκεκριμένων αισθητηριακών επιδράσεων που έχει ο αργός κινηματογράφος, και, κυρίως σ’ αυτή την πρώτη φάση της μελέτης, η απότομη εναλλαγή μονότονων σκηνών σ’ αυτόν.
Είναι αναμενόμενο ότι η συνεχής απουσία κλιμάκωσης και ισχυρού υλικού στο προσκήνιο, η οποία είναι ανάλογη με την αντικατάσταση ισχυρού περιεχομένου δράσης με αισθητικές κινήσεις στον κινηματογράφο, θα δημιουργήσει σε κάποιο ή κάποια σημεία του έργου ανία στον ακροατή. Πεποίθησή μου είναι ότι αυτή η λεγόμενη «κοιλιά» μπορεί να αποτελέσει περίοδο ανασκουμπώματος και συνάθροισης δυνάμεων, ενώ αποτελεί για τον ακροατή και μία πρόσκληση ώστε αυτός να αναζητήσει το χαμένο νόημα της χαμένης του ώρας, προσθέτοντας υποκειμενικό και εγκεφαλικό περιεχόμενο στο έργο. Ο καρπός αυτής της περισυλλογής ή ακόμη και μόνο της κόπωσης μπορεί να φανεί σε επόμενο στάδιο του κομματιού, ή μετά το τέλος του.
