*"call of the void" describes the impulse to hurl yourself into a void. While unnerving, it has nothing to do with suicidal ideation.

'call of the void' is an aural project whose basis is a collage poem. Its lyrics are inspired by excerpts from various literary works. The order of the lyrics is in turn determined by the sonic aesthetics of the tracks. All tracks except for track 8 are made remotely and represent one lyric of the poem each, although the spectromorphological features of each track contain impressions and information from the whole poem, just like a hologram would. The music created combines lo-fi recordings and the high fidelity of digital software. It replaces the experimental language of slow, minimal processes in favor of an ADHD attitude of fast changes and more conventional structural and melodic gestures, without resisting the influence of more noisy genres and the awkwardness of melodic content based on improvisation.
The last track is a live smartphone recording as a more direct tribute to free improv.
